On January the 18th this year Harcourts introduced to the market their new logo. This was a huge change for such a well-recognised and established brand. The old logo below had been in circulation for approximately 25 years without any tinkering, which is very rare for any logo. The new logo is fresh, modern and a nice change from the previous model. What strikes me is how Harcourts Group came to the new logo. After many months of consultation with sales teams and detailed research they took the risk of redoing what some might be seen as an iconic brand. With the in-depth efforts and leaving no stone unturned they came to the logo as it stands around a year before they were to roll it out. Having traveled from the bottom of the country to the top taking feedback on all the various marketing tools Harcourts have and understanding how they are used in every day activity. Following this the Group set a date 18th of January for the roll out – not an immediate change over but a slow and methodical roll out as reorders come in the new logos will be attached. Why am I telling you this? Well in my mind the job they have done is outstanding the new colours, the new brand and the feel of that brand has given the whole company a refresh. I always believed Harcourts had the best support and back office tools – now I actually know it. We have a whole suite of amazing useful everyday alternatives our salespeople can use to generate business and support our wonderful clients. The colours and logos are to be proud of and given the quality of our training we now have the material to match. Add to this our wonderful, award winning team and you have a recipe for success. Harcourts have outdone themselves and I am proud we are a member of New Zealand’s’ largest real estate group. Leave a Reply. |
